Flowers for girls and Pirates!

Hello all, been able to listen to some of The Ashes...em. So to more fun things - flower brooches and rings!

Definitely slightly OTT but all glitz and glam. This pink flower brooch is for a girls girl!!

And a brilliant Pirate brooch made using red velvet and sparkly black netting on a sieve plate brooch back.

A matching ring - again on a sieve plate ring blank.

This shows the sieve fittings - they provide extra stability and support for the velvet - no floppy pirates here!!

Good morning everyone. Had a good evening playing with a new design for a charm bracelet.

The charms and SP gem stones are all on separate bails and hung from a double elasticated section. The picture above shows bracelets finished with a double strand of black leather, black velvet and turquoise genuine suede ribbon.

There are six charms per bracelet chosen from these twelve. All soo cute.

And a choice from nine genuine suede ribbons.

The beads I have used above are SP gem stones or natural stone. I have a wide assortment of beads and colours available. Each charm bracelet is £7.50 plus £1.25 p&p. Please visit

Please let me know what you think. Have a lovely day. Loves & Hugs. Lor. xx

Good evening everyone. I hope you have managed to enjoy the good weather. Been pottering in the garden recently!! Burnt nose!
I made a couple of notice boards today. The embroidery hoops were forgotten in the back of the cupboard, add some cork and beautiful vintage floral fabric, back it with felt and hey presto!! It was  great way to use up those odd bits of fabric that I seem to collect! I think I will have to buy some more hoops now as i have ideas whizzing around in my head!!

Kumihimo Lariat with handmade Indian beads

Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I have finished a new Kumihimo project - this took some doing..
Work tray - approx. 2000 Preciosa seed beads strung...

15" braided -

All done - tassles made with hammered shell, seed beads, crystals
and finished with beautiful handmade Indian beads.

The finished lariat.

I love Indian beads.

I hope you will leave your comments below - I would love to know what you think. After stringing and braiding all those beads I had pretty swollen wrists!! But I love it. Please visit my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BeadsBraidsAndBows
